Things don't look too promising at the moment...guys taking a while to come back from injuries while we continue to drop in the standings little by little. The one positive I do take out of this, is at least we won't go into the playoffs like the last couple years and riding Howard for 60+ games during the season so he has nothing left come playoffs...the injured should be well rested by then, and if by chance we still can't do it when it matters most, then change needs to come. Also...somebody tell White & Stuart to stop with the constant mental breakdowns on D please...

Wings are a joke right now. White looks like crap without Lidstrom, Bertuzzi and Franzen have looked lost without Datsyuk and Quincey just looks horrible period. The worst thing is the PP is brutal allowing more goals than they score and the PK isn't much better.

Maybe this will show Holland that the depth of this team isn't as good as he thought it was and that he has to do things this summer to better this team...the same old same old won't do.

I thought he was ok in his first game but he's been going downhill since...now he seems to look like the player Holland waived years ago. Still early in his 2nd stint with the Wings so i won't write him off but maybe he just can't play in Detroit...maybe it's too much pressure for him or he is trying to do too much.

agree

on a skid for sure, but they're real banged up and playoffs are all but secure. They do this a lot this time of year just riding it out, ill wait to see how they look with everyone back before I hit the panic button. take a few top players and a top goalie off any team and they will struggle.

Take any teams best forward, best defenseman, and starting goalie and they poop the bed. We're fine until these injuries linger through to playoffs.
